Introduction
My name is Sam The Slug, and I live in a huge garden. I used to enjoy slithering around looking for food, but now my life is in peril. The owners of the garden are now trying to eradicate all the slugs in order to save their crops. I must make my escape! To do this, I need to fill up on vegetables...namely carrots, and avoid all the traps set for me and my slimy friends! So please, please please! Help me to escape, and I promise I'll be your friend forever!

How To Play!
All you need to play this game is a keyboard. The arrow keys guide Sam around nine sections of garden, and your ultimate objective is to escape to pastures new. But you need food to replace the energy you lose. Sam must collect every carrot in a garden section in order to progress, while avoiding traps and enemies. Things are made harder by the fact that whenever Sam moves, he leaves behind some slime, which rapidly hardens. Sam cannot climb over this, or dig under it, and he cannot backtrack. Planning is the key here, and the Camera Mode will be a godsend.

Camera Mode
Upon pressing space during gameplay, you will lose control of Sam, and access Camera Mode. With this mode activated, you can scroll around the play area, planning routes and spotting new traps or enemies. You can only access Camera Mode if Sam has stopped. To stop Sam, simply run into a wall, or press a direction key opposite to the direction Sam is headed (eg, if Sam is moving LEFT, press the RIGHT arrow key). To exit Camera Mode and return to the game, simply press ENTER to regain control of Sam and continue your escape!
